  1. That’s great! I was trying to figure out what nationality the people in your sketches were! So now I know! They are wonderful! I have never been able to draw people. I believe that people who can draw others are gifted. Keep up the great work!

    • Thank you for visiting and for your kind comments. I really appreciate it. There is a really nice mix of people here in Hawaii in many different ethnic backgrounds. The many people that I’ve sketched in my sketchbooks were of Filipino, Polynesian, Portuguese, Asian, Caucasian, African-American descent. There are also many who are of mixed race.

      • That explains most of California which is where I live! LOL! I have always loved the physical features of Hawaiian, Asian, and Filipino people. I used to go to a church that was predominantly Filipino and made one of the best friends I’ve ever known. They were a great bunch of people!

  2. Thanks for checking out my blog – we seem to share a lot of the same artistic interests: figure-drawing, sketching from life, vector art etc. I’m impressed with the number and quality of quick sketches you make of people on buses, in restaurant queues and the like. You’ve found some great subjects, there. I’m also an ex-Freehand devotee who made the switch to Illustrator probably about the same time as you. Found your gradient mesh piece very interesting!

Keep up the good work – all the best from the UK!

    • All the best to you too Geo! Good to see an ex-Freehander. I have an old computer so I’ll still use Freehand occasionally but I miss those heydays of just using Freehand to do my design works. Illustrator is great, though, and I use it all the time now. Glad you found my blog on gradient mesh. Thanks for visiting my blog!

  3. I love your drawings.

  4. Thank you for exploring my blog! I see we do have interests in common. Your drawings appeal to me a lot.
